I got trolled
I've been posting a lot on Facebook recently as I'm trying to raise my profile a bit
And it's obviously working as I'm reaching more people
But with that come people who aren't really a good fit for what I do
This meant that last week I got trolled on one of my videos
It was just a simple video - showing hip circles as a way to ease out your back and hips after sitting for a while
So nothing massively fitness about it and nothing controversial

How I became happy again
It's so easy to lose yourself when you become a mum...
In the early days, you're at the beck and call of a tiny dictator, so something as simple as having a shower can feel like a real treat!
You may then get so used to putting everybody else first that you forget your own needs
I only woke up to this fact a few years ago. So I decided to do some training that was less about exercise for once and more about my mood.

My breastfeeding story
My first birth was by Caesarean section. The baby was whisked away straightaway - I didn’t even get to see her. Even when I was in the recovery room she wasn’t handed to me. I think because it had passed that golden hour of first contact that no one really bothered.

As a family we were happier too. So I decided I should put more effort into time out …With Love on Mother's Day
And even then I seemed to be doing it all wrong. In a world of Gina Ford I had no routine, I was feeding to sleep, m…
Words of advice for new mums
The right way to parent
Having said that, here's some things that helped my mums - many of the same things came up…
no shame
I posted a link to a blog on Facebook this week giving another perspective on mums who've had C-sections - taking pride in them instead of feeling shame. It had struck a cord with me as I had felt such a failure when I didn't get the home birth I wanted and ended up having the most medicalised birth possible. Seems it struck a cord with other people too, as it became my most liked, shared and viewed post! Here's the link if you want to read it for your…
The right way to parent.
When I was a kid I used to hate wearing my glasses and would only really put them on when lessons were being taught o…
